Religious Services Committee

Morning minyanim have been happening in the small sanctuary and we have been getting a minyan for the daily minyanim. Please let us know if you are able to commit to coming to one or more mornings or afternoons during the week. Sooner or later we all have the need for a minyan; let’s come together and make it happen for ourselves and our community. A special yishar koach to Harold Apolinsky for being the first to utilize our minyan warning light system. Harold was going by and noticed the red light on and came in and made the minyan. When the red light is on it means please stop in as we are close but one or a few short of a minyan; when the green light is on it means come on in and be part of the minyan and stay for coffee and bagels and quality schmoozing on a plethora of topics.

The first Shabbat services in the new synagogue went extremely well. Attendance was very good and the services were uplifting as we enjoyed outstanding acoustics that made every word resonate. And the grand toppings of all of the services are Rabbi Ingber’s warm inspiring words of wisdom. Fantastic Kiddush lunches as well as delicious Seudah Shlishit meals are now being served every week. We hope you will be joining us every Shabbat; you will be glad you did.

Please note the service times for the winter months; Friday night Shabbat service will begin at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday morning Shabbat service will begin at 9:00 a.m. Torah service will begin at approximately 9:45 a.m. and services will be completed by 11:30 to 11:45 a.m. Torah honors will be decided at the beginning of the Torah service so please come early so you can be included in our honor list. For the next several Shabbatot we will be considering the arrangement of the seats and working on perfecting all aspects of the services. Please let Rabbi Ingber know if you have any suggestions or concerns.
